“I saw this unique wedding invitation the other day and thought it was such a great idea. San Francisco design firm Burning House had a wedding in the redwood forest. For the invitations, they designed a clever wheel based on a tree-ring pattern to give guests the relevant information without overwhelming the design with text. It was done in cardboard and letterpressed, with a wooden plug allowing the top to spin. Love the creativity!”

Alternative wedding invitation idea: carefully designed and styled from two circles of untreated, recycled chipboard — die-cut and then letter-pressed to look like an old planting wheel.

Stefania & Thomas Wedding Invitations. This fun save-the-date was inspired by the rich culture and aesthetic heritage of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the bride's family home and wedding destination. Lush with curling gold and burgundy, a folding Argentine fan in laser-cut paper is hand-painted by Ceci, and decorated like the city's famous hand-painted signs.
