Jello Frosting: Such an easy and delicious frosting! 3 ounce pkg. of Jello (favorite flavor) 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1 egg white 1 teaspoon vanilla Place the above ingredients in a large GLASS OR METAL mixing bowl (OF A STAND MIXER). Turn the mixer on high just as you add ½ cup of boiling water. Whip on high for five minutes and VOILÀ!!!
How to make Royal Icing. This smooth, hard-drying icing is perfect for making decorations that last. It is also useful as a "cement" to fasten decorations together. Royal icing is edible, but not recommended for icing cakes.
Chocolate Ganache INGREDIENTS 1 cup heavy cream 9 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped 1 tablespoon light corn syrup PREPARATION: 1. Put the heavy cream in a saucepan and set over medium-high heat. As soon as it begins to simmer, remove the pot from the heat. Add the chocolate and stir with a wooden spoon to melt the chocolate.
