A Victorian period student desk lamp from about 1875 is solid brass, and was meant to burn oil or kerosene. The tank is off to the side, helping light shine down onto a desktop. This lamp could be electrified if desired. Height is adjustable on this American made antique. The lamp is lacking a round cloth wick, so we cannot guarantee that this antique light will work properly.
