Cleaning tip: Laundry - Grease spots: Rub baking soda into it with a tooth brush, wait for it to ball up then brush it off and do it again and again until the baking soda doesn't ball up anymore while absorbing the grease. Use regular spot remover and wash. Viola!

Remove grease stains that have already been thru dryer**Sprinkle baking soda on spots. Use a toothbrush & rub. It will ball-up as it absorbs the grease. Once most of soda has formed into small balls, sweep off. For a 2nd time pour another small bit of soda on spot & repeat process til soda no longer balls-up. Next, use your normal laundry stain remover to treat. Let soak about 15 min & run thru normal laundry cycle. While spots are still there, they faded SIGNIFICANTLY.

laundry stain cheat sheet---These are all wonderful tips, and I'd add this: while working many years as a registered nurse in surgery & critical care, I kept a bottle of peroxide handy at the desk or in my locker.....apply a little to blood stains & they lift right out. I always had the whitest lab coat & cleanest shoes! Peroxide works well for stains that are organic in nature....
