The beautiful poster by Miss Pearl Rachinsky for Corin Raymond & The Sundowners live album recording shows. "Paper Nickels" will be released in November 2012 following a unique crowdsourcing campaign to raise ten thousand Canadian Tire dollars to pay for the double-album's production. The album features only three Corin Raymond songs and the rest by his peers: independent Canadian (and American and Australian) artists.
All that Canadian Tire money had to be counted, so Sandy McTyre brought with him an official Don't Spend It Honey accountant to do the job. The two nights combined brought in hundreds and hundreds of Canadian Tire money to go towards the Paper Nickels live double-album production costs. The event of the year- and it wasn't yet February!
Hey Corin! Looks like you'll be in London next week when I'm in TO, but I'll save a stamp and drop off my 4,000 or so CT #PaperNickels for safekeeping @TheCameronHouse http://www.dontspendithoney.com/#
