Im pro running and anti-dieting. Obviously make healthy choices with eating but I believe you can have that cake and ice cream, just put in some work. I suffered from horrible shin splints when I played soccer, attributed to all of the running I did(I was a midfield and forward and played lacrosse and ran cross country, in addition) Now I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis, yikes. Great guide to running.
