The Auerworld Willow Palace was planted in 1999 by architect Marcel Kalberer, a living canopy of strategically-placed trees woven together. The project was based on ancient techniques used in Neolithic Mesopotamian and European structures.

Willow dome.   A living structure that shades in the summer and lets heat through in the winter.  Plant your own!  It’s easy, place a willow branchs in water and let them sprout.  Place in ground in a circle slightly bigger then you want your dome to be.   Let them grow; remember willows love water.  Once they are big enough weave their ends.  Enjoy your new.. living room!
