we had a cherry tree- spent many hrs. picking so mom could bake w/them. Nothing like a (sour) cherry pie!

We had 2 huge sour cherry trees in our yard...growing up I remember how we had to "pit" bushels of cherries so Momma could can them. But in the dead of winter, we had delicious cherry pie!

Fresh cherries. She had a cherry tree next to the house. I remember all the work seeding and canning them.

Memories of climbing cherry trees at the Kunzee's. Eating ripe cherries was amazing. Nothing beats just picked fruit- so yummy! Dirt and all.

gorgeous deep purple plums - as beautiful to look at as they are to eat. When I was a teen, we lived in a house with a plum tree/bush right outside my sister's bedroom window....we were forever climbing out and picking plums for a quick snack! :)
