Monks Kettle in the Mission. We are SO going here this summer. The Monk’s Kettle is an upscale neighborhood tavern in the Mission District that sets the standard in pairing beer with food. Focusing on craft beer and upscale American cuisine, we carry a comprehensive list of 200 rotating beers (24 drafts and 180 in the bottle, including 15 vintage selections from the cellar) in a wide range of beer styles, but specializing in local and Belgian brews.
Philbrook Museum - In 1926, Edward Buehler Delk was hired to design an Italian Renaissance villa on 23 acres by oilman Waite Phillips. In 1938 Phillips announced his gift of the 72-room mansion and surrounding 23 acres of grounds as an art center for the city of Tulsa. The vision first made possible by Waite and Genevieve Phillips is now one of America's finest art museums.
