Protest: Christchurch Shows Anger At Government Education Plans Christchurch education communities have sent a strong message to the Minister of Education Hekia Parata at a rally on Tuesday. Over 1500 school supporters left the rally and marched to the Education Ministry’s offices in Christchurch to deliver a motion of no confidence in the Minister’s record to date.
