A movie in my all-time favorite top 5. As an older teenager, movies like this really weren't on my radar when I'd hit the local cinema for a flick. But this looked intriguing, and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. It didn't take long before I fell in love with kindly Hoke Colburn, cantankerous Daisy Werthan, and their relationship over the years. Even Dan Aykroyd shows great dramatic chops as Daisy's son, Boolie. And the last scene between Hoke and Daisy is about as poignant as they come.

Love this movie... Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey and Danny Glover were spectacular in this film...

A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor.

White Chicks - I'm going out on a limb here, but I've watched this so many times. Classic funny lines and scenes. I'm a Wayans fan. Terry Crews is absolutely hysterical. Give it a chance!

"The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" - A story of a child's innocence and loving heart during a time of prejudice, war, and terror. One of the most thought provoking, tear jerking, Holocaust films I've ever seen.

The Butler (2013) As Cecil Gaines serves eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and other major events affect this man's life, family, and American society. Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack...2d

Watched the re-mastered DVD and remembered once again what a wonderful movie this is. "I'll believe in you all my life." ~5/6/12
