Better Off Dead... (1985)

My first John Cusack movie. Better Off Dead. This movie was hilarious. "I want my 2 Dollars"!

My all time favorite! '"Can't Buy Me Love" starring Patrick Dempsey and Amanda Peterson'

Required watching in the 80's. I don't think I saw the whole movie until recently.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

One of my fave movies: Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Widescreen Special Edition): Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold, Phoebe Cates, Ray Wa.

80's comedy (love this movie & the coreys)

License to Drive , starring Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Carol Kane, Richard Masur. A teen decides to go for a night on the town with his friends despite flunking his driver's test.

Bourré de stars débutantes (1982)

fast times at ridgemont high - one of the best movies ever! See for what high school was like ( though definitely semi- elevated and glamorized) in a slice of of time. See for Sean Penns classic stoner turn.

My favorite big-screen film from my teen years. Andie was my fashion hero.

'Pretty in Pink' - 1986 - Stars Molly Ringwald (Andie Walsh), Andrew McCarthy (Blane McDonough), Jon Cryer (Phil "Duckie" Dale) & James Spader (Steff).

I’m pretty sure that I was born in the wrong decade. As I learned from VH1, I love the 80s! From the music and the movies to the clothes (okay maybe not all of the clothes, spandex is not a good look for anyone), I adore everything from the ‘80s. I think it was a fun decade, and I like to draw inspiration from the crazy clothes and cheesy music. Besides, who doesn't love Ferris Bueller?

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Ladies and gentlemen, you are such a wonderful crowd, we'd like to play a little tune for you. It's one of my personal favorites and I'd like to dedicate it to a young man who doesn't think he's seen anything good today - Cameron Frye, this one's for you.

Directed by Martha Coolidge. With Nicolas Cage, Deborah Foreman, Elizabeth Daily, Michael Bowen. Julie, a girl from the valley, meets Randy, a punk from the city. They are from different worlds and find love. Somehow they need to stay together in spite of her trendy, shallow friends.

Valley Girl (1983)

Pam Cade said - I love the valley girl language. "Oh gag me with a spoon" I love Nicholas Cage and even though he is a little quirky, I still enjoy his tenacity in capturing this girls heart.

"And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space… And meaning."
