Clark Terry (born December 14, 1920) is an American swing and bebop trumpeter, a pioneer of the flugelhorn in jazz, educator, and NEA Jazz Masters inductee. He played with Charlie Barnet, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Quincy Jones.
