Simone is a computer generated beautiful woman who becomes a sensational hit but the man who made her, Al Pacino, wants to control her to do more. The premise of this movie is interesting, would technology overtake the talents in the future? While Pacino is pretty good, the movie falls a bit flat. It's not about the effects used in the film, it features outdated technology for the time when it was made, but mostly the storyline falls flat. It is an intriguing movie though.
One of the few other shark movies besides the original Jaws of course that actually is scary. This movie is not only based on true events, it uses real footage of actual great whites and fits the footage very well into the movie.
