The „Goat” (Capra) dance is an ancient romanian tradition. Throughout the season, teenagers and young adults especially enjoy caroling with the „Goat”. The „Goat” is actually a usually boisterous young person dressed up in a goat costume. The whole group dances through the streets and from door to door, often with flute music. This tradition comes from the ancient Roman people and it reminds us of the celebration of the ancient Greek gods.

The parliament building in Bucharest Romania is the most massive structure I've ever seen (I believe it is one of the largest buildings on the planet). To see it in person and to hear the joy in the voices of the Romanians that it was no longer the home of the dictator Ceausescu who had taken everything from them. The people were wonderful and I will never forget what I learned from them.

PARLIAMENT PALACE, BUCHAREST, ROMANIA This is the most amazing and sickening place I've ever see. So gob smackingly opulent and big, and built while people starved and at the cost of churches and houses destroyed to make way for it.

Let's face it, caves can be dark and caving is a dangerous sport or recreation, but with caution, explore there magnificence!!
Caving—also occasionally known as spelunking in the United States and Canada and potholing in the United Kingdom and Ireland—is the recreational pastime of exploring wild (generally non-commercial) cave systems. In contrast, speleology is the scientific study of caves and the cave environment.

Bodie, California. It is a legend that should a person take anything from this ghost town that you will be cursed.
Ghost towns - Bodie State Historic Park is a genuine California gold-mining ghost town. Visitors can walk down the deserted streets of a town that once had a population of nearly 10,000 people. The town is named for Waterman S. Body (William Bodey), who had discovered small amounts of gold in hills north of Mono Lake. People flocked to Bodie and transformed it from a town of a few dozen to a boomtown.
