This is such a cute idea! My boys got Elf on the Shelf last year right after Thanksgiving. The boys get so excited to wake up each morning to see where the Elf was sitting that day. It was also a great way for the boys to remember to be good and kind to each other because the Elf was watching and reporting back to Santa.
