Marinated Cucumbers, Onions, and Tomatoes 3 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings 3 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup water 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper 1/4 cup oil Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
Broccoli salad Ingredients 5 cups broccoli florets,uncooked ½ medium red onion, thinly sliced 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 cup old cheddar cheese, grated DRESSING: 1 cup miracle whip 4 Tbsp. white sugar 3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar Instructions Prepare and toss together salad ingredients. Whisk together dressing ingredients. Pour dressing over salad and mix well. Cover and refrigerate, stir occasionally to blend salad and dressing. Let stand in fridge a few hours to overnight.
Restaurant Grade Homemade Ranch Dressing: Blend 2/3 c. buttermilk, 2/3 c. mayo, 3/4 c. sour cream, 1/2 t. onion powder, 1/2 t. garlic powder, 1/4 t. salt, 1/8 t. pepper, 1 t. dried parsley flakes, and 2 t. buttermilk ranch salad dressing mix. Chill for one hour.
