Storage bench turned file storage. Originally from Martha Stewart. This is a really neat idea if you don't have a lot of space but need to store files. This is better than having a bunch of file boxes because you can still sit on the bench. This works if you don't have a dedicated space in your home for an office, but could also work in a small home office that might need extra seating. :) A great idea for office storage - under bench in living / dining room

love this "office in a chest" that doubles as a seat when you're not getting (staying) organized. great for small spaces.

You can remove one without having to remove them all. Turn a vertical bakeware organizer on its end and secure it to the cabinet wall with cable clips. Genius.

Great idea for turning a bland file cabinet into a useful and eye-catching part of your decor! DIY using primer/spray paint combo by Krylon and sanding first. Lines were hand drawn with a paint marker. I would make my lines a little cleaner and use an acrylic paint for easy "oops" cleanup! The lines are a must however, without the pin striping this would look like a big, blue monstrosity!

spraypainted filecabinet... to look like blueprint! love it. has full tute. recommends " Krylon's new Dual Paint, which is a spray paint and primer in one can. I picked my favorite color, True Blue (or as I affectionately call it, "Ikea Blue")"

Great "hidden" storage - under cabinet drawers

I heart this organization of measuring cups and spoons on the inside of a kitchen cabinet accompanied by a conversion chart.

Brilliant. So the painted affirmations on the wall are cool. But I also love the styling in this pic. The use of polka dots, and the little knitted cosy on the mason jar. The carrying over of the black and white from the wall into the desk accessories. The contrast of textures and colours.

Love the hanging buckets for small stuff like receipts, coupons, markers etc. blog writer suggested it'd be cute to use the house number on these as a graphic element.

Vintage industrial filing cabinet: allocate one drawer per family member including pets, to store all paperwork (bills, mortgage infos, insurance, child drawings, vet details etc) in one place rather than having them spread around the house
