In 1974, Kenner debuted two sports action dolls, suntanned Dusty and her African American gal pal Skye. Dusty wears a navy one-piece swimsuit and Skye's is pink. The dolls encouraged kids to participate in outdoor activities like tennis, golf, softball, volleyball, fishing and horseback riding.
