APPLE CARROT & GINGER SMOOTHIE Serves 2 Ingredients 1 cup fresh carrot juice 1 green apple, peeled, cored, and chopped 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice 1 tablespoon honey Directions Freeze carrot juice in an ice cube tray. Combine with remaining ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.

One of my new favorite smoothies. It taste like a milkshake, but is healthy enough for a meal. Chocolate Peanut Butter – 2 TBL unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 TBL peanut butter, 1 banana, 1 cup almond milk (or milk or water), ice, protein power optional. 320 calories total.
Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients 1 cup fresh or frozen hulled strawberries 1 medium-size, ripe banana 1/2 cup of low fat greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream (optional) 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon honey 2 to 3 ice cubes Yield: One 16oz or two 8oz servings Method Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
