Vanilla Sauce. 1C Sugar, 2T cornstarch, 2C Boiling water, 1/4C butter, 1/4t salt, 1T Vanilla. Mix sugar and cornstarch, add it to the boiling water stir constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat add butter, salt and vanilla. Serve over biscuits, pancakes, French toast, ice cream etc..
Healthy Fettucine Alfredo made from cauliflower as a base. Use rice noodles or make own zucchini noodles. At the end recipe calls for a little cream and butter. Use coconut milk and oil of choice instead of butter like olive oil.
Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole. NEGATIVE: Can't think of one! POSITIVE: Yummy and easy! I made mine with 1/3 less fat Philly cream cheese and whole grain pasta, and it turned out great! Seemed a little dry before I even put it in the oven, so I baked it covered the whole time, and it was moist and delicious! Will definitely make again.
