In 1977 John Goto made these photographic portraits in Lewisham, South London, after which the negatives lay dormant in a box for thirty-five years. Goto is presently developing the series towards a book to be published in late 2013.
Unfortunately, those who wish to change fundamentally are small in number, but imagine if people were changing inside, and that sense of beauty, which is dormant, was awakened, at least partially. Then, there would be a much better world. --Waking Times
