    Before and after 300 lbs loss - Norm: I eat a low-fat plant-based whole-food starch-centered diet. I eat some fruit, plenty of vegetables, but mostly whole food starches. When I say "starches" I mean foods like oats, barley, quinoa, rice, potatoes, pasta, beans, corn, squash, etc. Vegetables I eat raw or lightly steamed. I do not eat animal products. In general I do not use any oils or fats in my cooking.
