"I Have, Who Has"..segmenting and blending CVC words. Fun with purpose! Each card will ask the reader to blend the first word and segment the next word. For small groups, I just give each child more than one card = more practice!
"Making Words" using sticky notes... I like how it's divided into beginning, middle, and ending sounds... could switch to have blends at the beginning and single consonants at the end... could also add -ed, -s, -es, -ing... or you could use onsets and rimes... lots of possibilities.
