The YMCA provides transitional housing to 50 homeless young adults (ages 18-24) every night of the year. Many of these young people have recently exited the foster care system, and most of these young people have little or no family support. Especially during the holiday season, we do our best to try to make the YMCA be more than just a place to stay, but truly a home. We are looking for individual
Ian Maki, MPH (right), of GHRI's Center for Community Health and Evaluation (CCHE), did a patient evaluation survey with a patient at the Seattle/King County Clinic with Remote Area Medical last weekend. The clinic evaluation was underwritten by Group Health Community Engagement and supported by GHRI staff and University of Washington School of Public Health student volunteer staff, organized by Mr. Maki and Lauren Baba.

HealthPoint goes way beyond the exam room to strengthen communities with health care.
