Maybe give a blank laminated card to each child every morning. Have them sign in at their tables using a wet erase marker, then use it like this, but to choose lunch? Handwriting their name every day to sign in.

Sign language alphabet project for the school auction later this month. I like how it turned out. It is being printed as a 16x20" poster size. I will then frame it and hope for the best. I love how all their little hands look. Tovit even had a band-aid on his finger...very cute! I hope the parents like it and will bid on it!

I like the basic idea here...would modify slightly: no rice since our school doesn't use food for playing - could use iridescent paper scraps instead

This worked well as a daily sign-in procedure. Children found their name puzzle and spelled their name at the beginning of each day. They loved it!
