Do it with passion or not at all. I'm tired of passion being associated with relationships and love. Passion is about what makes you happy and what you always want to be doing. And I'm just going to vent to all of Pinterest because I'm crazy, but I'm honestly sick and tired of just existing. My life has to have purpose. I have to have passion. Without passion I am nothing except skin, bones, crazy thoughts, and heartbeats. I want to do out of the box things and LIVE.

Amen! But I also think that life is about more than just passion, because passion, just like love or depression or spite, is an emotion. Our emotions are constantly changing. If we rely on passion to motivate us to do something worthwhile, them we'll miss out on so many great things. And what happens when our passion for something fades? Should we really just give up on something beautiful just because we no longer feel passionate about it? Where do we draw the line?

I'm actually curious if you have any thoughts on the matter, because this is something I'm trying to work through right now. And your comment really struck a chord with me. :)

No, passion will not always be constant. It will fluctuate and be ever-changing. But, I believe if you are truly passionate about something, that desire and burning love will never go away. I've had "passions" before and one day I woke up and they just weren't. That's how I knew the passion wasn't real in the first place. Honestly, there are only 2 things in life I feel passionate about right now: Jesus and worship.

I lead worship almost every weekend at my church and that's what I want to do with the rest of my life. How that's going to work out, I have no idea. What I've learned is to not look for a passion on your own. Let God just bring it to you. One day you'll realize, "Hey, I really love doing this!" like I did with leading worship. I have a couple instances where I tried to find it on my own and it just turned into a big letdown for me in the end.

I need this on my wall. There's things I want to do and think about all the time, but I never do it. There doesn't seem to be anything motivating me to even get out of bed in the morning.

"be intentional" | The Intentional Home: 12 Quotes to Inspire You to Be Intentional

Oh, I've known quite a few people like this. They can't come right out and say anything either, so they ever so subtly step on your toes with snide remarks and insults, and then when you call them out on it, they feign innocence/hurt feelings and make you look like a bad guy to those ignorant enough to believe them. The best thing I ever did, was walk away from it.
