Tight, taut Nigel Kneale script and good performances by Cushing and Tucker. Underrated early Hammer film. The japanese blu-ray is very so-so visually, and the audio is variable.

The Shout [Blu-ray]

Haunting film that you'll either love or hate. The UK blu-ray is outstanding, though.

An Aldrich film for Hammer with Jack Palance, and I've never seen it? Well, had to correct that! Nothing special, but entertaining enough. Kino's blu-ray looks good.

Nice locations and a couple of atmospheric sequences are the plus factors for this one. Could have been much better, though. The Vinegar Syndrome blu had some weird image stuttering on certain shots, but no one else seems to be experiencing that, so chalk it up to player incompatibility.

Crypt of the Living Dead + House of the Living Dead [Blu-ray/DVD Combo] *Limited Edition* OOP

I've always felt this movie was quite overrated, but have to admit this time around I really appreciated it. Watched the BFI blu, and it's okay. The sound is fairly rough, though.

Fellini Satyricon (1969) - Martin Potter, Hiram Keller, Max Born

Over 30 years since I last saw this (and under a controlled substance, probably). Still pretty damned stunning, visually. But about twenty minutes too long. The Criterion blu-ray is very good.

I like this from Best Buy

Captain America: The Winter Soldier [3D] [Blu-ray] [Digital Copy] [Steelbook] [Only @ Best Buy] [Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D] [2014]

Captain America: Winter Soldier (Bilingual) (SteelBook) (Only at Best Buy) Blu-ray)

I will never forget watching this in the grade and having my two guy friends running their fingers up my arms to freak me out. Spiders are GROSS!
