It's a lifestyle change that you need to stick to for a few months to see the difference and make the adjustments. Eventually, you can "treat" yourself by staying up late and indulging in a diet soda, LOL! Stick to it and stay on it, doggone it! :)

31/03/14 - already started making my own small changes towards my weight loss. I've reduced my portion sizes and am keeping a food diary to keep me on the straight and narrow. I'm not cutting anything I enjoy out of my diet except for as much sugar as possible and snacks between meals. I've also upped my exercise and have increased cardio to try to lose weight faster. Apparently it takes 4 weeks to see your body changing. Bring on the next 3 weeks! Whoop!

BMR calculator - This gives me about 1650/day. When I am trying to lose weight I'm supposed to stay closer to 1300. But it's a good formula to keep around.
I like this calculation but you have to reduce your calorie intake to lose weight combined with exercise so I can't stay at my current calorie intake if I want to lose weight right?
via heyfranhey: Edit* I just googled the BMR formula and it says you should subtract the 4.7 x age in years (as opposed to adding it, as the graphic states). Also, check out the Harris Benedict Formula which bases your caloric intake on this equation above as well as your daily physical activity!
