These string installations are by American artist, Janet Echelman. She really explores the possibilities of string, which is such a simple, almost one dimensional material. She transforms this material into something that is so immensely sculptural and dynamic, it almost seems like it is its own life form. What I also really enjoy about her work, is the way it engages with its surroundings and transforms spaces and places with it's bold presence.
This is why the channeled messages subtly disempowers people, while pretending to actually offer them an empowering solution. As long as we are sitting and waiting for “the good guys” to come and save us, we will not be able to discern who truly has our best interests at heart, nor will we be able to actually fix our own problems for ourselves. --Cameron Day, Why I am no longer a 'light'worker
