Here's to the obsolete outhouse. It may not be picturesque, but back in the day, it was a necessity. I know it was to my Grandma & Grandpa.

This outdoor toilet (no longer in use) is found on the grounds of Tretheway House in Abbotsford, B.C., a historical home, museum and tea house. An Outhouse is also known as a Biffy, Can, Dunny or Thunderbox, depending on what part of the world you're in.

.i had one of these moved off the holes...and made into a garden shed ...but as a child when we bought the homestead...THIS became my FORT!
