water play with multiple activities. It would be neat to have an area where several short hoses and sprayers with containers could be attached. I'd make it longer so that children would be spaced farther apart but I like the natural look of what appears to be a wooden wall and possible wooden steps or a bench behind it to provide better access from the top.

Idea worked great. Kids liked it. Indoor ring toss! Try Color paper plates or paint them. * scissors * long cardboard tube (from cling wrap, peper towel etc...) * sticky tape Cut the centre from some paper plates to use as your 'rings'. To make the stand I just cut slits in the bottom of the cardboard tube and flattened the ends, then taped it to the reverse side of a plate so it would stand up

101 indoor activities for kids! Fun ideas to pass those long winter months inside!
101 indoor activities to do with your kids! There is a common saying at my house right now and it is the dreaded words of - "I'm bored." When the freezing temperatures come we usually stay inside, and there is more TV than I would like. So I decided to make a 101 activity list of things to do with my kids. I had a couple of girl friends help me out and this is what we came up with. 101 Fun, Easy, and CHEAP Indoor Activities for Kids 1. Have an indoor picnic. 2. Build a fort out of blankets (use chairs, couches, yarn- anything to hold up the blankets!). 3. Make sock puppets (check out our tutorials for monster puppets and sock puppets!). 4.
