"In the old days, if someone had a secret they didn't want to share... you know what they did?... They went up a mountain, found a tree, carved a hole in it, and whispered the secret into the hole. Then they covered it with mud. And leave the secret there forever." In the Mood for Love.
love love love this movie!! in the mood for love
Wong Kar Wai is my favorite director, and In the Mood For Love is my favorite film from his resume. I watched it knowing nothing about the director or his style, and I walked away realizing film could be so much more than a story. It could be moving art, and no one captures that sensation like Wong Kar Wai can. In the Mood For Love is haunting and emotional, something very few stories could ever hope to be. Recommended to any, and all, cinephiles. #movie
