Bake on middle oven rack about 1 hour or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.     May daughter made this as a layer cake and mixed the nuts into the batter. Delicious ! She used this frosting : 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup Bailey's Irish Cream Directions Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and Irish Cream and mix until blended. Frost cooled cake. This cake needs to be kept refrigerated.
