The shell of the room is neutral — white subway tiles, the palest gray paint on the walls — but the impact comes from the bright yellow furniture and accessories. The bold patterned polka dot shower curtain is a whole lot of fun too. Notice the belt as a tie-back?

Small Bathroom Showers - All About Eaves For an attic or upper-level bathroom, investigate under the eaves to see if there's enough height to tuck in a shower. Position the showerhead at the highest point inside the shower. And, use the low-ceiling portion of the shower for a built-in bench if there's enough floor space remaining.

I love the grey floors trim and door painted with white tiles and walls, capped with dark trim tile. Such a crisp white and grey bathroom!

White + Butter Yellow A color palette of warm yellow and crisp white creates a vintage vibe in this master bathroom. White-painted paneling covers three-fourths of the bathroom's walls, while the upper portion features a sunny yellow hue. The thick, dark grout lines throughout the shower and floor tiling, plus the vanity's furniture-style construction, emphasize the bathroom's vintage aesthetic.

Vintage Chic - I don't care for the yellow floor but everything else is gorgeous

I hung a little chandelier in our bathroom. Nothing this grand, just the little one from Ikea-right over the tub. My husband hates it; the electrician fought it, but I won. I love it! Now I just have to finish the remodel in my tiny 1952 pink and black retreat!

Charcoal + White + Cream With its bright white ceiling and trim set against charcoal gray walls and floors, this room takes on the feel of a vintage black-and-white photo. To soften the room’s contrasts, the design introduces cream in the linen sofa, Roman shades, and hide rug.
