A Faberge gem-set, gold, and guilloche enamel frame, workmaster Victor Aarne, St. Petersburg, circa 1899-1908. The domed frame on bracket feet enameled in pale translucent green enamel over a radiating engine-turned ground, the mine-cut diamond oval aperture surrounded by applied three-color gold chased floral swags and cascades accented by cabochon rubies.
Fabergé Elephant Automaton 1892,This automaton was made as the 'surprise' for the Diamond Trellis Egg, made by Carl Fabergé for Tsar Alexander III. The Tsar presented the egg to his wife Tsarina Marie Feodorovna for Easter 1892. The egg originally had a silver stand (now missing) and was fitted with a lining to hold an ivory elephant automaton and key.
