"Miracle of Marcelino" is a 1955 Spanish film.  Marcelino bread and wine is a small orphan who cause a miracle.    When baby was left on the door of a monastery and raised by monks.    Marcellin is very well taken care of by the monks, but always felt lack of having a mother.    One day he meets a special friend in the attic forbidden ... Hanging on a cross. A friend who returned the kindness of Marcellin granting a wish from the bottom of his heart.

Thinking the statue looks hungry, he sneaks bread and wine into the attic and offers it to the statue. As he gives his offering, the statue miraculously comes to life and accepts the gift. Moved by the boy’s gift of faith, Jesus grants Marcelino’s deepest wish, to be reunited with his mother.

Pablito Calvo (1948–2000) was a Spanish child actor. After the international success of Marcelino, pan y vino/Marcelino Bread And Wine (1955), he became a star. At the age of 16, he retired.
