Reading Fair instead of Science Fair! Awesome! Kids can make at home and bring to school. Love this idea!

Love this idea.Instead of having students do a standard book report, teachers can have them put on a reading fair. A reading fair is similar to a science fair but with books instead. A great visual arts project in my opinion.

Inference Bags - Put mystery items in each bag. Have students write out 6 clues about their mystery object in the bag.  The clues shouldn't be obvious, but they do have to be factual. Once finished, students will read clues & make inferences about what the mystery object is.

Inference Bags-definitely doing this next year! (Kids place random items in their bag, write clues on the outside. Students go up and read the clues, and then infer what is in the bag.sort of a stretch I think, but fun!
