TÍR NA nÓG [Land of Youths, Land of the Young] was an ever-young domain. It is perhaps the most widely known of all the otherworldly lands [Tír] from early Irish tradition, probably because of its portrayal in Micheál Coimín's 1750 Irish-language poem Laoi Oisín i dTír na nÓg [The Lay of Oisín in the Land of Youth]

"I wander'd lonely as a cloud that floats on high o'er vales and hills; When all at once I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
