Uncover the story of the “Real Rocky,” Chuck Wepner, the man who went almost the full 15 rounds with Ali in 1975 to inspire the Oscar-winning movie.

Charles "Chuck" Wepner (born February 26, 1939) is a former heavyweight boxer from Bayonne, New Jersey.[1][2] As a tough journeyman boxer he went 15 rounds with world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali in a 1975 fight. Wepner claimed that he was the inspiration for the movie Rocky, and his claim was confirmed by the film's screenwriter, Sylvester Stallone, on an episode of Inside the Actor's Studio.
