Honey Lavender Cake. I'd like to become adept at cooking with florals. Made lavender dark chocolate brownies recently but went too light on the lavender (I was trying to avoid having them taste like potpourri). Practice makes perfect, so let's make cake.
Lavender mille crepe (a cake made of many layers of crepe), with honey and vanilla pastry cream. Oh, my! (And it's okay to substitute a teaspoon of vanilla for the vanilla bean, adding it after you remove the cream from the heat.)
