The Famous St Ives Green Door The 200 year old door belongs to St Ives Bakery and has been listed by its owners, who were at one time made an offer to put it in the Tate gallery, but as the owner said where would I get another 200 year old door.
This door is probably the most photographed in St Ives, Cornwall, and is 200 years old. That being said, the placement and color of the flowers in front of the door is what sets it all off. Dreamy.
Like the door to the secret garden...

Alcantara (Brazil) doors we visited the small town of Alcantara (near Sao Luis - Maranhao) during our honeymoon trip. The atmosphere of the village let you taste the magnificient beauty that come from the past
Inspiration. Only cause I don't think it would work on a craftsman or ranch style home or it could and I will call my house "The Shire". No compliants there.

Cool black and white. The most photographed of all the Georgian doors in Dublin, if you go to a souvenir shop you are more than likely to see this on a postcard. www.snaphappyross...

Apologies but I'm unsure of the origin of this door. But it looks like a door that might be on in an abbey ruin or or some place equally cool.
