Leheria turbans, Rajasthan, India. Leheria is a traditional Rajasthani style of tie dye that results in cloth with distinctive wave patterns. Textile expert Mita Kapur notes that "the zigzag pattern of irregular colour stripes is a visual invocation of the flow of water." Leheria is often brightly-colored, but this example has beautiful earthy colors with a subtle geometric pattern.
