I am a firm believer in the practice of creativity. What I mean by that is that we tap into our creativity by constantly doing it. Even if you don't feel like it. Even if you feel like you are empty. You come to the table/easel/computer and just start. In my experience I have found that when I commit myself to practice, then it becomes easier. Over the years I have had folks inquiring about what tools/mediums I use in my visual journals. Thought I would share a bit, basically I start drawing with a Faber-Castell PITT artist pen (usually no pencil, just jumping in feet first with the ink), then I apply color with my Winsor & Newton watercolor traveling kit, and finally I punch up colors and add details with Prisma Color Pencils.
