Developing fine motor skills (and to aid in developing scissor skills): picking up small blocks with tongs, using an eye dropper (for painting, water play etc), using a hole punch and clipping pegs (clothespins) to containers/play washing lines
Numbered Clothespins on a Hanger. allow students with disabilities to practice placing numbers in order. Not only would it strengthen their knowledge of numerical order, but it could simultaneously work on fine motor skills.
What a great idea! I never would have thought of this- cutting paint samples.easy way to introduce cutting on a line. Also good because they are a little firmer than plain or construction paper so it's easier to hold them with your non-cutting hand.
