I am going to try this. we eat a lot of ranch and homemade is usually better than store bought.
Vegan Ranch Dressing - Ingredients: ■1 cup neutral oil or your choice (canola, sunflower or safflower are good choices) ■1/2 cup unsweetened plain non dairy milk *see notes ■1 tsp apple cider vinegar ■2-3 cloves garlic or 1 tsp garlic powder ■1/2 tsp onion powder ■1-2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley ■1-2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives ■sea salt and black pepper to taste
Fabulous Finds: Protein Ranch 1 Cup Cottage Cheese (Watch your label, sometimes low fat doesn't mean low calories and the regular cottage cheese is only a few cal. more) 3-4 tsp. Buttermilk Ranch Dressing mix 1/4 C. water (or milk if you prefer: Milk will add more calories) add more water if the consistency is too thick for your liking. Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. (About 3 min.) Enjoy!
