This is the #firepit i just built! One thing I learned was that if you don't have holes for air circulation, then your fire will only burn on the top. 2 rows of 10 cinder blocks each and top row of 10 cap blocks cost me only $45 and ALOT OF HEAVY LIFTING!
This is our 34x34 square fire pit. Materials needed: 34- 7x14 Belgian wall bricks 6- Belgian wedge bricks 2 bags of pea gravel Shovel and a leveler *measure the area before you purchase bricks so that you get the correct amount of bricks needed* 1. Each brick should lay level on the ground and level with the brick next to it. 2.Lay the 6 wedge bricks on top of the previous bricks. These will create a good air flow. 3. Lay the remaining bricks on top. Now your ready for your fire.
