Watercolor art by Marion Bolognesi - i like the fact that Bolognesi has used watercolour and made the drippy effect on the eye area as if it were dip pen and ink. i love how she has blended the water colours together in the eyes and the nose to create the shadows of the facial features. it looks almost asif she has just taken a picture of a face and splashed some watercolour round it. its a very effective piece and would work well with part of the logo design i am working on right now.

Perfect Faces with Runny Watercolors. Every one of these Marion Bolognesi illustrations only feature the facial attributes of her subjects. Viewers aren’t given the option of staring at luscious hair or masterfully painted bodies, but that’s entirely okay as Bolognesi’s pieces overwhelm audiences’ ocular senses with stunningly perfect faces. Though rendered in watercolors, they have a near photorealistic look to them and viewers can’t help but be entranced by each subject’s magnetic gaze.

Marion Bolognesi. I really like the detail and how lifelike the eyes look. Also I feel the drips and splatters add to me painting making it more abstract and interesting.
