Lee Miller in bathing costume, photograph by Man Ray - Lee Miller was the first student accepted by Man Ray, and soon after became both model, muse, and lover to the artist. Given that she also often took over fashion shoots for Man Ray, it is also rumored that much of her work may have been credited to Man Ray himself

Lee Miller: Fashion model, surrealist artist, World War II correspondent; including concentration camps #FilmHerStory
Lee Miller. The quintessential muse. After a short foray in the fashion world, she moved to Paris to be mentored by Man Ray. They soon became lovers, documenting the idiosyncrasies of their relationship with photography. However, this exploration was more focused on Miller and her mystique. There was something utterly unknowable about her and equally as captivating. Miller eventually left Man Ray and served as a wartime photographer, but the two remained friends.
