'Red Lemur' - photo by Sera.D., via Flickr; Eulemur rufus is a species of lemur from Madagascar with a head and body length of 14 - 19 inches, with an 18 - 22 inch long tail. It weighs about 5 pounds. It has a black face, muzzle and forehead, plus a black line from the muzzle to the forehead, with white eyebrow patches. Males have white or cream colored cheeks and beards, while females have rufous or cream cheeks and beards that are less bushy than males.

Von der Decken's sifaka (Propithecus deckenii) is a sifaka native to Madagascar. Today, the Von der Decken's sifaka is listed as Vulnerable, but if habitat destruction continues in Madagascar it won't be long before it's Endangered. (Sifakas are a genus of lemur)
